While practicing law\, he was also a career fire service professional serving as a Firefighter/Paramedic\, Captain/Paramedic and Assistant Chief. He recently retired as an Assistant Fire Chief and Attorney on the Command Staff at a Phoenix area Fire Department.  Mr. Robens is a Partner in the law firm of Jellison & Robens\, PLLC.  The Firm provides Police Department legal advice\, training\, and litigation services in the areas of law enforcement liability\, constitutional law\, and general governmental liability. The Firm routinely litigates cases in the federal courts handling a variety of constitutional cases in defense of governmental entities\, their agencies\, and departments. He frequently consults with and lectures nationally to public safety agencies\, conferences\, and conventions.
