Your employer is among 70+ Cities and Towns that have come together to form the Arizona Municipal Risk Retention Pool. Unlike an insurance company, AMRRP was created to benefit the specific needs of Arizona’s municipal workers. If you need medical treatment, your injury will be assigned to one of AMRRP’s Workers’ Compensation Adjusters on the Claims Services Team.

FAQ
Please tell your employer if you are hurt on the job. As an employee of an AMRRP Member, you have the benefit of working directly with Triage Now if you’re hurt. Their nurses have special training in work injuries and are available 24/7 to help decide what level of care you need; if you need treatment, help you through referral to a Medical Provider. Triage Now makes sure mandatory reports are completed for the Industrial Commission of Arizona, your City or Town employer, and AMRRP. Please note: Triage Now Nurses do not replace emergency care! Alternatively, you have the right to report your work injury on your own with the
Worker’s Report of Injury Form 407. For more information, please refer to
Arizona Revised Statute 23-908 E.
Your employer can send you to a physician of their choice, once. Often this is the very first visit, after you’ve spoken with a Triage Now Nurse. For more information, please refer to
Arizona Revised Statute 23-908 F.
If you feel your injury is work related, let your provider know. Medical Providers have experience with billing for a variety of types of insurance, including workers’ compensation. Providers are not allowed to bill patients for workers’ compensation treatment on accepted claims. If you receive an invoice that should be paid through your claim, please contact your claim adjuster for assistance. For more information, please refer to
Arizona Revised Statute 23-1062.01 D.
