The services of Under the Shield are being offered to First Responses at no cost to AMRRP members. Although some of you may already be familiar with Under the Shield it is our understanding that AMRRP is the first and perhaps only pool in the country to provide this benefit to all members!
Under the Shield is different from your EAP programs or the PTSD programs that provide counseling services. Under the Shield provides totally anonymous mental wellness services and proactive training to first responders and their families. The flyer gives a summary of the program.
I have had the pleasure of meeting with Susan and Tom several times as we put the program together and I always enjoy talking with them!
