CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

 

The AMRRP Administrator, Southwest Risk Services, provides expert property, casualty and workers’ compensation claims service. An on-staff Nurse Case Manager helps facilitate appropriate treatment of workers’ compensation injuries and assists Members in arranging for modified work duties and making workplace accommodations, if necessary.  From the  initial report of injury through an injured employee’s rehabilitation and early return-to-work, AMRRP’s workers’ compensation program focuses on and promotes prompt, quality care.  This approach helps reduce employers’ administrative burdens and controls claim costs.

 

·          Emphasis on claims resolutions that are timely and equitable.

·          Negotiated discounts on medical services.

·          Bill & utilization review.

·          Use of structured settlements to meet claimant’s varying needs and to provide cost-effective claim resolution.

·          Early return-to-work (ERTW) programs.

 

A major component of handling industrial claims is making prompt        three-point contact’”  Within 24 hours of receipt of a new report of injury, Claims Adjusters will contact:

·          Employer

·          Physician

Our professional claims staff provide comprehensive claim services in all other lines, property, liability and automobile, focusing on expedient management, utilizing fair and equitable resolution methods.

 

 

AMRRP practices proactive litigation management with effective use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) when indicated and specialized claims services.

 

 

Claims services include:
